Gone bush

I've been a bit quiet over the last few days because we gave ourselves a long weekend in Stanthorpe, far south Queensland. We had a fantastic few days away with (amongst other things) no internet, and we spent a lot of our time just hanging around outside the cabins we were staying in watching the abundant wildlife pass by.
It'll take a couple of days to post up a couple of posts about our activities over the last few days but in summary we went bush walking, flew drones, scared ourselves silly, tasted wines, talked to brewers, dodged roadkill, bought jams, took photos, watched birds, built fires, drank beer and ate some awesome food. And made the most of local produce as we came home with 11 bottles of wine, 2 bottles of fortified wine, 7 bottles of beer, 1 bottle of cider, 1 bottle of whiskey, 9 litres of fresh-pressed apple juice, 1kg of honey, 500g of olives, a block of very tasty cheese and a mixed bag of fruit. Next time we need to take a bigger car...
