Hobart is beautiful, but it has a cold wind I've not felt in a while with a hint of sleet in the air. Yes that is snow on the mountain top in the background.
We've only been here for an afternoon so far, enough to explore the Salamanca area and find a decent pub or two
They also sold very nice 'gourmet burgers'. It wasn't just the beer that was hoppy as Liz had a wallaby burger.
After a quick nap we had a wander around Hobart - a very beautiful city, albeit very quiet on a Sunday evening
Our hotel is also suitably posh, although sadly lacking a doorman
We came here wondering if 4 nights too long. After having had a chance to look around I think we should be staying for a couple of weeks...
